Dedicated Lanes

Dedicated Lanes for 9ft, 16ft, and 24ft Trucks

A dedicated lane is a recurring freight route assigned to one carrier. Instead of bidding on loads that appear and disappear on a load board, a carrier with a dedicated lane knows what they are hauling, where they are hauling it, and roughly how many loads they will run each week. For a small truck owner, that predictability is the difference between planning a week around known revenue and refreshing a load board every morning hoping something fits the vehicle.

Eischeid Trucking Brokerage LLC assigns dedicated lanes specifically to 9-foot, 16-foot, and 24-foot trucks. These vehicles move the same retail, e-commerce, and business-to-business freight that larger fleets handle, but they are frequently excluded from big-brokerage routing guides because they do not match a 53-foot trailer profile. That gap is exactly where our program operates: we match high-volume shipper programs to the truck sizes that can actually serve the stops.

Truck sizes and the freight they fit

9 ft

Cargo van / small cutaway

Same-day metro routes, appliance and parts deliveries, tight residential access.

16 ft

Box truck

Most consistent daily volume: pallet freight, retail restock, and business-to-business drops.

24 ft

Large box truck

Higher-payload lanes, multi-stop regional runs, and freight that rules out smaller vehicles.

What a dedicated lane includes

Each dedicated lane comes with an assigned route, scheduled pickup windows, dispatch assistance, and a single point of contact at the brokerage. Carriers who need them can also add supporting services during onboarding: trailer rental, TWIC card application support, commercial insurance setup, and factoring registration. Freight is coordinated so that the same vehicle that picks up the load delivers it — no drop-trailer juggling and no waiting on a partner to move equipment.

Requirements to run a lane

  • Active MC and DOT authority in good standing
  • Commercial auto and cargo insurance on file
  • A 9ft, 16ft, or 24ft vehicle in working order
  • Availability to run an assigned lane consistently, week over week

Setup fee, deposit, and payouts

Dedicated lane setup is a $299 fee, and it is compulsory for carriers joining the program. The fee is refundable once the carrier completes their first delivery arranged by Eischeid Trucking Brokerage LLC. No payment is collected on this website; carriers designate how the refundable deposit will be paid, and Zelle is the accepted method. Payouts are issued according to the payout method selected during onboarding and are timed around factoring and broker payment cycles.

How onboarding works

Onboarding runs in four steps inside a single session, with no account to create: select the dispatch company coordinating your loads, enter your company and authority details, choose your services and deposit payment method, then read and sign the carrier agreement. Applications are reviewed within one to two business days, and approved carriers are contacted with lane assignments and their first load schedule. Drivers with questions before applying can reach the brokerage at broker@eischeidtrucking.com.
